This seminar will cover the basics of digital painting in Photoshop. Topics included are: understanding and setting up a painting workspace, basic sketching and rendering and color theory.
Level: Beginner to Intermediate
Target Audience: Graphic designers and artists, creative directors, layout artists, product design developers, Industrial designers, product managers, brand managers, and those involved in creative, design, and product development.
Meneer Marcelo
Meneer is an Illustrator for Rogue Magazine, BluPrint Magazine, Adobo Magazine, McCann Worldgroup Philippines Inc., BBDO Guerrero, and JWT.
His designs and illustrations were featured in some exhibitions, foreign magazines, books, packaging and televisions such as:
Star Wars Exhibit, 2009, 27 Frames that made me F*ART, 2010, Human Rights Alphabet – Cultural Center of the Philippines, 2017, Discovery Magazine, Hong Kong, Good Health Magazine, Australia, De La Salle University Manila, The President’s Report 2007, Quaker Oats, Goodie Tin Can, Dokumentado, TV 5, PacquiaoMosley Primer, GMA 7 and many more.
Awards received: Winner-Best Use of Illustration, Asian Publishing Awards 2013, Yellow Award, Philippine Graphic Design Awards – Illustration Category, 2011, Adobo Award, Philippine Graphic Design Awards 2011, Winner – Illustration Category and Magazine Design Category, Philippine Center for Creative Imaging 10th Anniversary, 2010.
Meneer holds Bachelor of Fine Arts, Major in Painting and Master of Fine Arts units in University of Santo Tomas.
