Resource Speaker/Expert: Guillermo ‘Ige’ Ramos
Room C – May 31, 2018 | Thursday, 2:00 pm – 5:00 pm (Half day)
Join Ige Ramos on his journey from being a book designer, to food writer, to publisher on how he single-handedly produced his own Food-themed book: Republic of Taste, The Untold Stories of Cavite Cuisine. Being a graphic designer for more than 25 years, he has designed some of the most interesting coffee-table books that garnered awards from here and overseas. His knowledge of design began even before desk-top publishing was invented. But that doesn’t mean he’s technologically backward, in fact, he was one of the early adopters of digital technology when it was first introduced in the country. Join him how he shows you the proper way to design and publish your own books.
