Adobe Photoshop CC 2016: Advanced Retouching & Editing Made Easy

The seminar will focus on Photoshop CC techniques that you can use when retouching images. The main focus will be on professional retouching and manipulation techniques. Learn to use blending modes and brush techniques to specifically target your retouching work to remove blemishes and spot-imperfections and adjust skin tones. Create backdrops with Content-Aware Fill and combine them with photo elements. Puppet Warp allow for flexible retouching. Begin with the basics of video production, then go into editing and color correcting the footage, work with audio, add animation and motion effects and finally, export the final project.

Rollan M. Bañez

Rollan Bañez has 10 years of relevant academic background and 16 years in the IT industry starting as an IT Staff and later as System Administrator working with various software and hardware technologies for Windows, Mac OS and Linux on both client and server software platforms.

Passionate about arts, creativity, and design, he channeled his insights in mastering Adobe applications and became one of the most widely disciplined Adobe Certified Experts in the Philippines. He is a Certified Expert in Adobe Muse, Adobe Photoshop Lightroom, Adobe Photoshop’, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe InDesign, Adobe Design Master, Adobe Design Specialist, Adobe After Effects, Adobe Acrobat, and Adobe Flash Professional. Rollan is the Technology Evangelist for GetCre8ive Corporation and Creative Cloud Evangelist for the Philippines. He manages various communities, such as, Adobe Community Professional, Graphikarista Creative Group, and Graphic Artist Philippines, on which he shares his knowledge through events and seminars. He finds balance in life through enjoying great music, films, travels, and inspiring new generation of creative people.

Studied electrical engineering at Mapua Institute of Technology, and never thought he would end up as a graphic designer. After college, Tony decided to explore his artistic skills and worked as an artist for a garments factory, designing shirt graphics. He has never looked back since then as he became a designer for the last 15 years. Tony has worked as a freelance consultant/designer for Fiera de Manila, Inc., Bozell, Basic FCB, Campaigns and Grey, and Leo Burnett, and as a full-time designer for Pixel Magic and Gimenez Group. He has art directed photo shoots for BPI and Equitable, and is an experimental photographer in his own right. Tony is an instructor at the Philippine Center for Creative Imaging.

Guillermo “Ige” Ramos

Guillermo “Ige” Ramos

Meanders the lush and layered forest of the theater, museum and cultural work, graphic design, publishing, food, travel and creative writing. His pioneering efforts in the field of digital art earned him top honors in the International Designers’ Network (IdN Club, Philippines) since 1998 and the very first winner in the Digital Art Category when it was first instituted in the 53rd Art Association of the Philippines Annual. He has designed dozens of books including A Pilgrim’s Diary and The Governor-General’s Kitchen, which won him consecutive National Book Awards for Best Design in 2005 and 2006. In 2008 his design for The Governor-General’s Kitchen also won Best Design in the Philippines and Finalist in the Best Culinary History in the Gourmand World Cookbook Award-Best in the World. He is the principal designer of Ige Ramos Design Studio (IRDS) and the Publisher of ZeusBooks, where he co-published Jessica Zafra’s Twisted 8. Ige is an instructor at the Philippine Center for Creative Imaging.

ACE, ACI

Mario Ramirez is an experienced instructor and speaker in the field of graphics software applications. He is an Adobe Certified Expert (ACE) and Adobe Certified Instructor (ACI) for Photoshop CS6. He teaches Photoshop to designers, photographers, business professionals as well as casual users. He is on the faculty of the Philippine Center for Creative Imaging (PCCI), the only Adobe Authorized Training Center (AATC) in the Philippines. He has taught at the ISO-certified MMLDC training facility and at The Garage: Jescom Creative Technologies, the Ateneo De Manila University in Katipunan.

Aside from teaching at PCCI, he regularly presents at prestigious conventions like the Graphic Expo and DLSU-D Graphic Convention.
