Business Analysis is the set of tasks and techniques used to work as a liaison among stakeholders in order to understand the structure, policies, and operations of an organization, and to recommend solutions that enable the organization to achieve its goals. This seminar is a high-level appreciation of Business Analysis as a distinct discipline. It discusses the use of the Business Analysis Body of Knowledge in embedding quality practices and implementing quality methodologies in an organization. This course demonstrates how to build real-world models that express complex business requirements that are used as inputs in solutions development.

Participants will learn how to identify and translate business goals and needs into solutions, and use them to derive both functional and non-functional requirements. This seminar includes appropriate usage of various business analysis techniques used by the business analyst in different kinds of business situations. A business analyst is any person who performs business analysis activities, no matter what their job title or organizational role maybe.

Jocelyn Mendoza

Jocelyn Mendoza-Reyes is the Concurrent Chairperson and Chief Quality/Knowledge Officer of Digileaf Inc; President of the International Alliance of Quality Professionals (IAQP), Netherlands; Formerly a Director, Enterprise Director of Quality, Quality Manager and Project Manager for multinational companies in Asia, Europe and USA.

She set-up and implemented quality management systems, conducted professional training programs and seminars in various disciplines including, business analysis, quality management, project management, software quality assurance and software testing. She served as Senior Quality Advisor and Business Consultant performing Business Analysis, Software and Service Quality Improvement Advise for diverse industries such as Banking, Telecommunications, Shared Services, Information and Communications Technology.
Graduated Masters in Information Management from Asia Pacific College, Bachelor of Science in Mathematics major in Computer Science from the University of Santo Tomas, earned a Certified Manager of Quality/Organizational Excellence, obtained a Certified Quality Project Management Professional (Fellow), Certified Quality Business Analyst (Fellow), Certified Software Quality Professional (Fellow) from the American Society for Quality and International Alliance of Quality Professionals
