NEW Photoshop CS6: Powerful Retouching & Manipulation Made Easy

April 16, 2013, Tuesday, 9:30AM – 12:30NN (half-day)

The session will focus on Photoshop CS6 techniques that you can use when retouching images. The main focus will be on professional retouching and manipulation techniques, showing you the differences between, and individual application of spot healing brush (enhanced by Content-Aware function), clone stamp, healing brush and patch tools, to take full advantage of their capabilities. Also learn to use blending modes       and brush techniques to specifically target your retouching work to remove blemishes and spot-imperfections and adjust skin tones. Create backdrops with Content-Aware Fill and combine them with photo elements. Puppet Warp allow for flexible retouching impossible with previous version. More new functions make difficult editing easy with Photoshop CS6.

Audience: This session is a must for photographers and designers who work with photos that need retouching, enhancement and more dramatic effects.

Level: Basic to Intermediate – Participants are expected to already have some understanding of Photoshop fundamentals.

 

Adobe Photoshop CS6 3D Design Plus Basics of Animating 3D

April 16, 2013, Tuesday, 1:30 – 4:30PM (half-day)

Photoshop Extended adds powerful 3D tools and capabilities to any designer’s creative skills. This class will introduce the basics of 3D and how to use the tools and techniques available in Photoshop CS6 Extended. Topics include: the 3D workflow; how to import, composite, manipulate and render 3D assets; techniques for using cameras and perspective; creating 3D scenes from photos; working with 3D Layers; painting 3D Objects; and manipulating 3D objects.

Your 3D images shouldn%uFFFDt end in 2D world after completion. You can animate them in Photoshop CS6 Extended. The seminar will introduce the Animation panel, the timeline and how to create basic animation for your 3D objects.

Note: While Adobe Photoshop CS6 Extended enables you to integrate 3D work in your 2D design plus add basic animation to your output, you will need full-3D software suites (e.g. Autodesk Maya) to create complex 3D animation.

Level: Intermediate to Advanced – Participants are expected to have experience using Adobe Photoshop.

Most anything you want to know (or do) with Illustrator but are sometimes afraid to ask.  Maximize the use of 3D techniques and other effects in making your illustrations and layouts.  This topic also demonstrates the use of Illustrator’s tools in combination with each other and enhancement commands you’ve always wondered about.  Discover Adobe Illustrator’s newest and enhanced tools and how they give an already powerful application more punch.

Producing Short Video Clips and Animation for Viral Marketing
